Abstract
The majority of the Supreme Court endorsed the application of the "full faith and credit-like" principles to the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments without any adjustment to the defences available to judgment debtors. As more foreign judgments come for enforcement against non-consenting foreign defendants, the suitability of this approach will become clearer.
