Long Title

An Act respecting the Registration of Venture Investment Corporations HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario enacts as follows (a) "articles of incorporation" or "articles" means the original or restated articles of incorporation, articles of amalgamation, letters patent, supplementary letters patent, a special Act and any other instru- ment by which a corporation is incorporated, and includes any amendments thereto (b) "associate", where used to indicate a relationship with any person, means (i) any body corporate of which such person beneficially owns, directly or indirectly, equity shares carrying more than 10 per cent of the voting rights attached to all equity shares of the body corporate for the time being (ii) any partner of that person acting by or for the partnership of which they are both partners (iii) any trust or estate in which such person has a substantial beneficial interest or in respect of which such person serves as trustee or in a similar capacity (iv) any spouse, parent, son or daughter, brother or sister of that person, or (v) any relative of such person or of his spouse other than a relative referred to in subclause iv, who has the same home as such person
