CALL FOR PAPERS:
2017 Osgoode Hall Law Journal J.D. Research Symposium
— Friday, March 17, 2017 —
Have you written a legal research paper as part of your J.D. studies at Osgoode or as an undergraduate or graduate student? Are you thinking about getting your paper published? Are you looking for feedback on your paper from peers and professors? Are you interested in enhancing your performance in a seminar or refining your oral advocacy skills?
Submit your paper or an abstract to the Osgoode Hall Law Journal J.D. Research Symposium. The Symposium—organized by the Osgoode Hall Law Journal, and with support from the Associate Dean (Students) Office—will provide a forum designed to showcase the legal research and writing by J.D. students. You will have the opportunity to give a short (approx. 10-15 minutes) presentation of your paper as part of a panel to your peers and professors. In return, you will receive constructive feedback on your paper in a collegial environment.
To participate, please e-mail by Wednesday, February 15, 2017.
- The subject line of your message should be in the following format: "LAST NAME, first name – 2017 OHLJ Symposium."
- Attach the paper you wrote as part of your studies. You must provide a fully written paper.
- Indicate your full name.
- Indicate your law school year (e.g. 1L, 2L, 3L).
The Symposium will take place on Friday, March 17, 2017 in the Helliwell Centre (Room 1014 of the Ignet Kaneff building) at 9:00 AM. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
