Barbra Schlifer Clinic awards human rights and migrant labour advocate Fay Faraday as its annual award recipient.

On June 9, at the Daniels Spectrum Arts Center in Regent Park, The Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic will award Fay Faraday this year’s Torys LLP sponsored Annual Spirit of Barbra Schlifer Award.Fay Faraday advocates with and for those who are most marginalized in our justice system. She has played a key role exposing the discriminatory treatment faced by migrant workers, including migrant women affected by poverty, forced into sex work, and made more vulnerable to violence and marginalization.
