Assisted-Dying Committee Cautioned to Avoid ‘Patchwork’ Policies
MPs and Senators studying how best to legislate on physician-assisted dying were briefed by Health Canada bureaucrats Monday, and cautioned about the importance of a consistent regulatory approach across jurisdictions in Canada. But legal scholars suggested divergent approaches to amending the criminal code.
